Goa

November, 2023

In recent years, Goa has witnessed a remarkable surge in the adoption of veganism, triggering a burgeoning culinary landscape. The embrace of plant-based diets has catalyzed an array of restaurants, blooming across the vibrant region. These eateries, once limited in number, now thrive, showcasing inventive vegan dishes that cater to the increasing demand for cruelty-free and environmentally conscious dining experiences. The trend has not only diversified Goa’s gastronomic offerings but has also highlighted the ethical and health-oriented preferences of both locals and tourists, fostering a flourishing vegan community within the state.

We would also like to thank Shivya Nath for such a helpful and insightful list! She have been called a storyteller, writer, photographer, digital nomad, instagrammer, social entrepreneur, solo traveller, vegan and environmentalist. In 2011, at age 23, she quit her 9-to-5 corporate job with a dream of travelling the world. In 2013, she gave up her home, and began living nomadically. In 2015, she turned vegan and decided to cut out all animal products from her diet and lifestyle, realizing that it’s better for the animals, the planet and her own body. Your dedication and effort in compiling this resource are truly appreciated. It has been an invaluable guide, offering a wealth of information and aiding greatly in navigating through various aspects efficiently.
